Fleetmark dominates centre field at Traeger park
After working closing with Channel Seven and the AFL, Fleetmark produced a 30m x 30m digital banner for the indigenous round of the 2018 AFL season. The game was held on May 27th at Traeger Park in Alice Springs with Melbourne Vs Adelaide.
Fleetmark was supplied with an A4 sized indigenous painting by Kathleen Wallace (shown below), which was scanned and converted to a HiRes digital file. The banner was then manufactured from eleven 2.7m x 30m panels, printed at our Victorian site. Each set of 2 panels were welded together, to ensure the ease of transportation to the venue and on-field setup and removal before the game commenced.
After our banner was utilized for the pregame rituals, Melbourne emphatically proved their premiership credentials by breaking a number of records in a 91-point hammering of Adelaide. The Demons racked up their fifth consecutive win with the 23.8 (146) to 8.7 (55) victory over last season’s beaten grand finalists. This is the first time since 1993 that the Demons have won two games in the same season by more than 90 points.
